Air Serbia uses Terminal 1 at John F Kennedy International Airport. Air Serbia JFK Terminal handles all the flight services to and from Belgrade.

Departure at JFK Airport, Air Serbia Terminal

Air Serbia operates non-stop long-haul flights from Terminal 1 to Belgrade, Serbia. The flight departs from the Air Serbia JFK terminal around 1:50 PM and takes approximately 9 hours to reach Belgrade. 

Check-in: The check-in for Air Serbia would open 4 hours before departure at the Level 1 departure zone. Passengers must submit their checked luggage at the Air Serbia check-in counter at JFK. The airline closes check-in 60 minutes before departure. 

Security: The security screening zone is located on the same level as the check-in counters. Air Serbia does not provide dedicated security lanes for its passengers.

Boarding: Air Serbia usually departs from Gates 1-12 in Terminal 1. Passengers should check their boarding pass or the airport display monitors located at the Air Serbia departure gate JFK for real-time updates.

Baggage Claim: The baggage claim zone is located in the Arrivals Area. Look for the designated carousel based on teh arriba flight. After collecting baggage, travelers need to go through Customs. 

After customs, passengers drive in the public arrivals area of Terminal 1, where ground transportation, taxis, rideshares, and shuttle buses are available.

Dining: Dining at JFK Terminal 1 includes brands like Starbucks, Dunkin', McDonald's, Taco John's, and Jikji Café, offering quick meals as well as a fine dining experience before departure. 

Shopping: The shopping areas at JFK Terminal 1 are located near the boarding gates, where passengers can explore duty-free goods and luxury brands such as Bvlgari, Hermes, and Cartier. Newsstands are available both pre-security and post-security. 

Currency exchange: JFK Airport Terminal for Air Serbia operates a currency exchange provided by International Currency Exchange, and is located at Arrival Levels near baggage claim. 

WiFi: Travelers can connect to free WiFi via the JFK network, which is available throughout Terminal 1. 

Lost and Found: A dedicated Lost and Found desk for Air Serbia passengers is located near the baggage claim in the arrival halls. Any items that are lost elsewhere in the terminal, including the security checkpoint, food halls, or restrooms, passengers must contact JFK Airport Lost and Found. Air Serbia operates flights to and from Belgrade from Terminal 1 at JFK Airport. As of 2026, the airline continues to operate from JFK Terminal 1 and is plans to relocate its operation to the New Terminal One by mid-2026.
